Sri Mariamman Temple, a Hindu temple with a richly decorated entrance tower, is 300 m from the hotel, and the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, housed in a colonial-era building, is 600 m away. Independence Palace, the former presidential palace, is 750 m away, and Tao Dan Park, a green space in the centre of District 1, is 450 m away. Both the museum and the palace sit within District 1, so they are easy to see in the same visit.
